Ephraim Faience Art Pottery

When we decided at the 2008 show to include
contemporary pottery with an arts and crafts
influence in our show, we had no other choice but to
include Ephraim Faience.   They consistently have
provided affordable and finely crafted pottery to
collectors since 1996.   They are now celebrating 16
years of creating the finest in contemporary arts and
crafts style art pottery.  We congratulate them!

We're happy to announce that the Ephraim Faience
Art Pottery will be making their 5th appearance at the
13th annual Los Angeles Pottery Show on
February 11-12, 2012!

Ephraim Faience art pottery is created by hand in the
arts and crafts style.   Distinctive shapes and glazes
highlight the beautiful collection.    Collectors
everywhere are taking notice of the quality,
craftsmanship and vibrant depth of color in each

CATALINA ARTIST FRANCES MAE GRAHAM: REDISCOVERED

Noted Catalina collector, author and long time exhibitor at the Los
Angeles Pottery Show,
Carole Coates will be presenting to the public
a rare an important glimpse into the life of this Catalina Pottery artist.
The exhibit will feature recently found artifacts, art, imformation and
images of Catalina's most prolific artist, Frances Mae Graham.
Following her studies at the Chicago Art Institute Graham arrived for
work in Catalina and stayed longer than any other artist, raising her
two young daughters in Avalon and leaving only when the island was
evacuated in World War II.  Known as "Mazie" to her friends, she
quickly became an indispensible part of Catalina's operation,
exploring undersea gardens and sketching at the Bird Park to help
bring her artwork to life.  Special hand painted pottery pieces from
Graham's personal collection will be on display thanks to the Graham
family.  Don't miss seeing this important exhibit adjacent to Carole's
booth #53.
